OUR CEMETERY

Within the grounds of the Holy Archangels Greek Orthodox Monastery is a cemetery where the faithful may choose to lay to rest their loved ones. Many find comfort knowing that those who have been laid to rest “in the hope of life eternal” are on the monastery grounds, in such peaceful and prayerful surroundings. You will often see one of the fathers or a pilgrim meditating nearby, praying for the souls of the departed or contemplating the temporal and fleeting nature of this world.

Please contact the monastery concerning any inquires into burial plots, commemoration services and funerals. Holy Archangels Monastery must be contacted before scheduling any burial or memorial service.

The Monastery takes very seriously the responsibility to commemorate the departed. The names of those buried on the monastery grounds are commemorated at every Divine Liturgy.

The Cemetery at the Holy Archangels Greek Orthodox Monastery is open for visitors during the following hours:

Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM until Sunset
Saturday: 9:00 AM until Sunset
Sunday: 7:00 AM until Sunset
